Early to mid 20th Century Carved Chinese Elm carver armchair elbow chair
Rounded square form legs to the front with a foot rest stretcher
Carve frieze with an elm panelled seat within an elm frame
Chinese ‘key’ scrollwork carved decorations beneath the carver arms
Rounded stiles and rails with a carved pierced frieze highlighted with red paintwork and Chinese ‘key’ scrolled gallery to the back
Wonderful patina to the elm wood

The chair is in very nice original condition, firm of joint, retaining its original finish
